Before i forge ahead in this article, i would like to use Abia state university as a case study.

Today, its not about writting waec, jamb, neco, ampitude test and other examinations, the thing there 2day is about how to get into the university, getting admiss ion. Absu today is not a school of poor or lower earning civil servant and workers because absu stress and requirements are much in the sense that if u r nt up to the task you r out. Lecturers and students now do buisness with money and obtaining marks in the lecturers course. Believe it or not or not, it is not that went to school that are learnered because you find out that so many student both boys and girls especially the girls, use their body and money to obtain marks though the aspect of their body depends on the lecturer itself because some leccturers are after money, some are very proud to collect this money 4rm students without even having a second thought about their own children. Fear has been the way people that cann't afford to get dis money needed by the lecturer. Absu is so corrupt that they are proud of it.. It is in Absu that i have seen with my own eyes, tha t a department will write a course on a subject and all that wrote the exam will get mass failure, example is in buisness block/department a lecturer is know for this in buisness block, though i wouldn't call names, in envisomentals also, in mass communication department too. This issue has brought fear to people who can't pay dis money. So bewarned. Coming to absu is not a childs play nor a jamborie as u may call it. Read and pay, that is, read to know it and pay to pasps it that is the motto now. With this kind of lecturer students attitude, the learnerned ones are discouraged by their work in school, but all the same, let the truth b told. So my people, lets make hay while d sun shines, it is only a fool that dines with a wise man 4 hours and yet didn't learn anything 4rm him. Open ur ears, eyes and be mindful of what u do in school.
